Mama Nilishe

Mama Nilishe is one popular restaurant located at Kileleshwa. I went ahead and tried a Kenyan dish  called "nyama choma", which means "roasted meat" in Swahili. It is a dish commonly enjoyed at social gatherings and is usually served with a side of ugali and kachumbari, a fresh tomato and onion salad.

The dish was served with Ugali and Kachumbari, a simple salad made from diced tomatoes, onions, chili peppers, cilantro, and sometimes avocado. The Nyama Choma was perfectly cooked, with tender and juicy meat that had a smoky flavor. The Ugali was a perfect accompaniment to the dish, with its smooth and creamy texture and mild flavor. The Kachumbari added a refreshing crunch and a burst of freshness to the meal. Overall, the combination of flavors and textures in this traditional Kenyan dish was truly satisfying and unforgettable.
